Coffee Morning Success

On 26^th September 2018, Collier Reading Architects came together to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning in our offices in Wells to help raise £297.82 for people living with cancer.

Bringing millions of people together for coffee and cake each September, Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has become a British institution over the years – with thousands of events happening up and down the country.

This year was our first year at hosting the event, and money was raised through a raffle, a ‘guess the number of maltesers in the jar’ competition, and donations.

Speaking after the event, Oliver Hill said:

“We really enjoyed doing our bit for this year’s Coffee Morning. It was great to get people together, have a nibble and a natter and raise money for Macmillan to help people living with cancer at the same time. I want to thank everyone who supported and helped to make it a success.”
